A great 2010 Giveaway!

Sometimes when I get that urge to be creative and I sit down to scrapbook...I don't know what to scrapbook about! LOL! I am always inspired by product and that usually makes me want to sit and create...it's then the hard part to find photos that fit my 'vision' for that project and an important story that I want to tell. Does anyone else do it 'backwards' like me? :)

Last week, I came upon an amazing new ebook from Ella Publishing called A Year in the Life. As I was going through the fun format of the ebook (love that I can flip through the pages on my computer whenever I want!), I was instantly inspired. Inspired by wonderful ideas shared in this ebook about things to scrapbook and capture in 'a year in the life'. Wonderful ideas!!! It is filled with layouts and fun projects..but most of all...I love the ideas and content of this book. I am so inspired and want to tackle some of the great ideas for pages right away!

Thanks to the amazing people over at Ella Publishing (THANK YOU)...they want to give away a copy of this wonderful ebook to one of you...Be Creative Everyday readers!

To be eligible to win, please leave a comment about something you want to be better at capturing this year in your life...the more ideas the better! You will love this ebook - I promise! Please leave your comment by Friday, January 22nd. I will then draw a random winner! Good luck!

I am much like you in that I tend to scrap "backwards" as well. I can only imagine what inspiration this ebook could provide. My oldest daughter is just about finished University and will be embarking on a new direction/career in the very near future and I'd love to be able to document it with my scrapping. Thanks for the opportunity to win this book.

Well, the thing I'm worst at capturing in our scrapbooks is...myself! So after years of trying to start a BOM and going nowhere, I hope to at least get myself in more photos and get my face in our albums...just as my words already are.
Thanks for the chance at this book - looks great!

What a fun book! I'm trying my own Project 365 for 2010. I'm trying to capture my beautiful children as well as the everyday stuff!

I want to capture more pics of my husband and I. We've been kinda left out since we had kids. LOL!

This is a pretty popular goal but I'm really wanting to stay comitted to the 365 project. I'm taking a photo every day this year - of whatever we're doing that day or maybe of just some random thing that I normally wouldn't document. I know that years from now I'll look back on these photos and get a good glimpse of what my life was like in 2010.

Thanks for the chance to win the fun book!

This looks like a great e-book. I'd like to capture more about myself and my husband this year. I'm the family photographer (and scrapbooker) and do a pretty good job capturing moments about my kids. However, I think it would be nice for them to know something about their folks too when they are looking back at all the scrapbook pages in the future.

I want to capture the little things in my life that so easily get overlooked - the things that over time we may forget. Looks like an inspirational book.

I'm trying project 365 for the first time this year. So as well as capturing the everyday stuff, I'd also like to capture things from my past - those important stories I haven't told yet but that are a huge part of who I am today. Know what I mean? ;-)

I need to put me in my scrapbook pages. I've been scrapping Christmas & I'm not in any of the photos. That's really sad(my daughter is a professional photogragher & even she didn't catch me in any of her photos)

I want to get better at capturing events! I seem to do great at every day and portrait type stuff, but I tend to miss the big events because I get so involved in participating! LOL!

I want to be able to capture pictures of my 17 year old son that don't involve him turning his head away, covering his face with his hand or ducking behind the hood of his sweatshirt! Possibly impossible.

I am so overwhelmed by capturing it all that I miss the little things I know I am going to miss as they grow older.

I want to be better at capturing the little moments and little stories in my life. I seem to only capture the "big" things in life and I know the little moments are important too!

I scrap backwards, too! I'd like to become better at scrapping the little moments. Less holidays, more everyday.

I need to be better at capturing ME! I was looking for pictures of me and my kids and noticed that there are almost none! I hate having my picture taken, but I guess this really isn't about me! It is about my kids!

Thanks for a great giveaway!

Sounds like a great book. This year I want to start to capture some of my life/views in my pages. Everything has been about the kids up until now and I'm realising the need to document my life aswell.

Inspiration is great from all sources. Thanks for sharing. I want to try to capture more every day life. I must not think my life is boring just because my kids are in college now. I have a wonderful husband and life to capture now too!

I am pretty good at capturing the everyday moments and joys. Let's face it, life isn't all sunshine and roses, but it looks that way in my albums. I'd like to document a few of life's challenges this year. Maybe not all of the challenges! Don't get me wrong, I'll still capture those happy moments too!
