'Count Your Blessings' Watercolor Stamping Layout

This layout was published this past summer in Better Homes & Gardens, Scrapbooks, etc. Magazine. This layout was so fun to do and still one of my favorites! I had to show how to stamp with Watercolor Markers (which I bought a long time ago when I saw Jenni Bowlin use them on a super cute layout). All of the stamping on this layout (and there is a lot) was done with the watercolor markers. I simply brushed the marker on the stamp, huffed on the image to re-moisten the ink, and stamped it on the cardstock. For some of the images, I used multiple colors on the stamp...this is one reason why I love stamping with markers!

Some supplies I used:

• Hero Arts Four Leaf Grid Stamp (right corner stamped with yellow) 
• Damask Stamp from Jenni Bowlin 
• Beinfang Watercolor Markers (I purchased mine at Michaels Craft Store)
• Flower: Amy Butler stamp
• 'Cherish' circle text stamp & 'Count Your Blessings' Stamp are Hero Arts Stamps

I just realized that there was more stitching and things added to this layout but this was the image I sent in for approval so it didn't have that on there yet. Oh well - you get the idea right? :)

Today, I am truly 'Counting my Blessings'! We received some very sad news that my Brother-in-laws younger brother died in a tragic accident. He leaves behind a young wife and a 3 month old baby - it is just a horribly sad situation! The mom has moved in with my sister who is helping to comfort and care for her, her baby and her own 6 children. Please pray for their family! We are heading out of town to attend the funeral and be there to help as much as we can. I'm just still in shock and just numb...it is so very sad.

It's amazing how we can so quickly be reminded that life is so fragile. Please pray for them. Thank you!!
