Hero Arts & Silhouette 'Thank You' Card

Quick little share today. This card was up on the Hero Arts blog this week. You can check out all the details by going here on the Hero Arts main site. I created the bird with a fun bird image from Hero Arts for Silhouette - I layered another Hero Arts design on top of it and cut it out on the pink bird and then layered a green bird underneath it. Lots of stamping and clear embossing with some new Cling stamps. I'm sooo loving their new releases! Be sure to check out all their yummy new stamps while your at their site.

We are back from our trip to St. George for the funeral of Ryan MacPherson. It was a very sad, hard, yet very touching funeral...I don't think there was a dry eye during the service. It was a beautiful tribute to his young life.

I spent some time at my sisters the night before preparing for the funeral and was asked by his wife to type up the hand written letter she wrote to him...that my sister was reading at the funeral the next morning. I sat and cried as I typed. It is one of the most beautiful love letters I've ever read. They had a truly intense love for one another and I pray for his wife and little baby girl! You can view the obituary by going here. There is an account set up for his wife and daughter...if you able to donate, please do! They really need help at this time...it is going to be hard and if you are able to help, I know that you will be blessed greatly in doing so!

Thank you for your prayers for my sister, brother-in-law and his family. It is a hard time for all of them and I pray that they will continue to be comforted and taken care of. Thank you! :)
