Scrapbook Stamping Guest Designer Layout Share

I was excited when Nichol asked me to be one of her guest designers for her Scrapbook Stamping Class at Twopeasinabucket.com for the month of July. The theme for this month is stamping backgrounds. I had so much fun just digging into my supplies and creating!
I used the beautiful baroque background stamp by Hero Arts and an older script stamp from Hero as well for the main background pieces. I stamped them with Versamark ink onto kraft cardstock, sprinkled with clear embossing powder, and then heat embossed to melt. I love the 'wet' look clear embossing gives to the paper! So beautiful in person!

I pieced together the background with fabulous dot papers from My Mind's Eye, added some banners, journaling tag and some punched flowers (which were made with an EK success large border doily punch - stamped on each side of a strip of paper to make a flower).

I also used the Peacock Chalk Mist from Tattered Angels on the ribbon and also on the blue strip of paper in the middle of the page (I didn't have cardstock in that same color so I just misted some white cardstock and cut it into a strip).

I used all Ali Edwards Stamps for Technique Tuesday for the subtiles around the page. Love her script writing and love to use them on my layouts often! Other little random bits, lots of sewing, buttons, etc.

Thanks to Nichol for asking me to contribute to her class this month! I had so much fun with this layout! You can view my layout here at Two Peas, which also includes a list of the items that I used that are available in the Two Peas store.

Thanks for looking as well! Hugs!
